My name is Allyson <3
I am a playwright from New Jersey who writes about the Internet, communication, alienation, systems and time.
My work has been supported or seen at: The Brick, The Exponential Festival, Clubbed Thumb, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Lucille Lortel Theatre, Workshop Theater, Road Theatre, Theater Accident, Wild Project. Finalist: SohoRep Lab, NJ Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, Alpine Fellowship, Sam French OOB Festival, Arthouse Inkubator. Semi-finalist: Colt Coeur Artistic Residency, Ars Nova PlayGroup, Pipeline Theatre PlayLab, Princess Grace Award, Fault Line’s Irons in the Fire. Proud alumna of The Road’s UC4, Clubbed Thumb ECWG, Brick SoundLab. Commissions & awards include EST/Sloan, the Constitution Commission, and a “Leap of Faith” session from the Alcove at Lucille Lortel Theatre.
My digital audio-film-play Arrow of Time was an official selection of the NYC Indie Theater Film Festival & named Best Audio Production by Young-Howze Theatre Journal Awards (in addition to Best Sound Design & Best Lead Performance by Ben Holbrook!)

How did it once feel to dream behind our eyes and wait at the screen, anticipating a response? Will we ever do this again?
